Jacobson & Schwartz has earned an excellent reputation for handling bodily injury and property damage claims for the insurance industry in the courts of New York. We have tried and arbitrated hundreds of cases with excellent results. The firm has initiated settlement conferences at the outset of litigation resulting in early resolutions of lawsuits. Settlement days are conducted on a regular basis in our office.

Our firm, established 40 years ago, consists of twelve attorneys, three partners and nine associates. Our associates are between 30 and 60 years of age. Besides excellent academic credentials, each of our associates trained in the legal department of insurance carriers or other carrier-oriented defense firms.

Jacobson & Schwartz assigns each carrier a team of skilled, experienced attorneys to deliver a highly responsive, high quality standard of client service. Each team is led by one of our partners or senior associates, who assume a hands-on role in meeting the needs of our client carriers and directing other attorneys to their specific roles. At all times, there is a knowledgeable attorney accessible to address claims personnel queries promptly and effectively.
