Michael C. Weiner, Esq. joined the Firm as Associate, serving as Team Leader in 2004, bringing over twenty-five years of industry experience to the position. He began his career as a defense attorney for The Hartford Insurance Company as House Counsel, and then went on to practice insurance defense in the private sector.

Prior to Jacobson & Schwartz, Mr. Weiner served as a Managing Attorney for several successful plaintiff law firms in New York City and Long Island. Upon joining the Firm, he has returned to his roots.

Education

• Mr. Weiner received his Juris Doctor Degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1975 and was admitted to the Bar in 1976.
• He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

• Among Mr. Weiner’s professional affiliations are his memberships in The American Trial Lawyers Association, the New York Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association.
  

Community Service:

• As a dedicated member of the community, Mr. Weiner has served on the Board of the Bethpage Jewish Community Center and as a soccer coach.
