Richard S. Geffen has been an Attorney with Jacobson and Schwartz since 2001, in one of the Firm’s most active Litigation groups. His expertise is in the areas of automobile cases, premises liability and labor law litigation.

Mr. Geffen sharpened his skills in the areas of investigation and discovery, litigation management and defense, on behalf of a diverse clientele, involving a wide range of cases, while serving with leading New York City defense firms.




With over twenty years of defense experience, Mr. Geffen’s other professional abilities and activities include:

• Writing and editing textbooks of Law with Matthew Bender & Company in New York City
• Earning Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating of A.V. in acknowledgement of both professional accomplishments and adherence to ethical standards
