Scott Wein joined Jacobson & Schwartz as a trial attorney in March 2005. He has been a practicing attorney in the field of Property & Casualty defense for more than 25 years.

Prior to joining Jacobson & Schwartz, Mr. Wein served as a senior trial attorney for house counsel to Royal & Sun Alliance, where he handled a large caseload from inception to trial, including those with large exposures and complicated questions of law. His cases included general liability, automobile and construction losses.

Education

• Mr. Wein received his Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in 1978 and was admitted to the New York Bar in 1979.
• He is also admitted to the Federal Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
• He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from York College of The City University of New York.
• He is presently a member of the Nassau County Bar Association.
  

Community Service:

• In addition to his legal expertise, Mr. Wein has been active in his community as a Little League coach, Division head and travel team soccer coach, as well as coaching for P.A.L. and assisting with Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society.
  

Mr. Wein is married and has two children.
